Recorded August 12, 2016
The world is evolving faster now than any generation before. We are seeing technology grow exponentially and are moving from simple information systems to complex internet of things, mobile technology, and multiple variations of complex systems, services, and products.
As testers, we are being called on to keep up with the changes. We have no time to sit and watch the evolution of the new world. We are called on to lead a revolution of processes, practices, services, and tools to support our craft. The time is now to improve the testing practice to ensure we don’t get left behind.
In April 2016, STPCon debuted our first Test (R)evolution expert panel. We will continue this discussion for the Fall conference with a new group of panelists. In this keynote panel, you will hear from leaders in the testing industry that have answered this calling.
Paul Grizzaffi will speak to the state of tools in testing, how we have grown in the testing practice, our constraints and our opportunities, and how testing is complemented by the complex growth in tools to support the testing practice.
Melissa Tondi will speak to the advances in mobile testing, the evolution of the practices around mobile testing, as well as the importance of leadership in testing organizations and how that testing can synergize with all teams within the organization.
Mary Thorn will speak to the advances in agile testing, the importance of integrating agile into every testing practice, as well as the tools and processes to be more successful as a testing organization.
Join Mike Lyles, the moderator, for a highly interactive panel, filled with questions from the community, inputs from these leaders, and new ideas and suggestions that will help you to be more strategic in your own organization.
